While at camp Ockanickon on Friday, I was able to make a connection to my project. Other than just being outdoors, I was able to look around and appreciate the nature that was around me. There were a lot of different insects and plants that surrounded us as we did some activities that we enjoyed and others that petrified us (lol). I found the fact that we were able to enjoy the outside and have fun without sitting in front of a television or a computer to be something that was more fulfilling than any of us could have expected. With this being said, I left the camp with pollen in my eyes and a greater appreciation for the outdoors.
"Get me down..NOW....I'm not playing with you"!!!!

I, too, tried something like the high ropes course back in my navy days and had a similar experience. I was PETRIFIED! So glad that you're appreciating nature from a different angle.
